read The Pentagon Papers. they WERE lying misleaders. from Johnson to Nixon they told the country utter lies about victory being just around the corner, the domino theory and bodycount fabrications. They esclatated the war on a big lie as well. GW Bush seems to be following in Johnson and Nixon's footsteps. And it's not going to help him. BTW: this is the same type military-industrial complex Eisenhower warned us about. Beware if they get too much power for their will subvert democracy.
