Bush went AWOL and deserted for 13 months, bushawol.com Kerry fought hard in combat, took three wounds, won the Silver and Bronze Star. Same decorations as Ollie North who thinks Vietnam was a great war we should still be fighting. John's opposition to the war was because so many of his best friends and brothers in arms were being killed for no good reason and were left twisting in the wind by the Nixon government. Sort of like what's starting to happen now in Iraq. Shame on you and shame on Bush. A chickenhawk who avoided war and went AWOL. That's a fact.
