Agree with that, Hawk. But IF each of the countries that are in the UN are to provide value to the group, then they MUST be prepared to stand up and be counted when so called leaders of countries like the Congo or Rawanda, etc go totally crazy, and start killing their citizens by the hundreds, or thousands....

Problem of course, is that many of the countries of the world, don't want to spend the funds necessary for any armed peacekeeping or anything else. They seem to want the US to do most of it. And then as I said the other night, b**ch about it.

Otherwise, why bother....and why have the UN...?
