Dead soldiers families could be forgiven for being somewhat irate that their Commander in Chief was not describing the true position about the Yeti and BigFoot in Iraq. Sending troops there to be killed while shouting "Gas! Gas! Gas!" for no reason.

Saddam said he didn't have a Yeti in Iraq and it seems his credibility is higher than Rumsfeld's [in this instance anyway]. I recall Scott Ritter saying the Yetis were all dead. No more BigFoot. Maybe something overlooked, but nothing to speak of and certainly not a noocular war programme or 45 minute to launch of a Yeti onto Noo Yawk and Downing Street.

Anyway, it was always absurd to call Iraq a threat to the USA other than in a supporting terrorism way. Which is enough to justify the removal of Saddam anyway. He should have got the UN to defend him from the USA if he didn't like Power from the Barrel of a Gun [which he does, so didn't think of it and wasn't interested anyway, like all megalomaniacs].

I wonder when the lawsuits will start, against the government which wrongly sent young Americans under false pretences to their death in a foreign crusade [which the constitution specifically tries to avoid by hog-tying the President].

It must be time for impeachment proceedings. Dead young people are more important than lying about a spot of adultery [who wouldn't want to conceal their tracks on that one - adultery isn't exactly a federal offence].
