And how the hell do they expect to balance a budget (which is mandatory) without raising a few taxes?

How the hell do you balance YOUR BUDGET? WRITE ANOTHER BAD CHECK THAT SOMEONE ELSE WILL HAVE TO MAKE GOOD?....OR CUT SPENDING. There WAS a lot of money, revenues had increased over and above inflation. Davis and the Dems could have saved a little and not believed the good times would only get better.

I do like the strategy of Davis threatening to resign if re-called. That kind of hard ball works both ways. Maybe there won't be a budget. MAYBE WE'LL JUST DECLARE BANKRUPTCY.

They are also the ones who blew defeating Davis in 2002 by refusing to back moderate Riordan
Uh, you are aware THAT DAVIS TARGETED RIORDAN because he wanted Simon to win, right? Is this the slimeball that is such a hero to you? Remember all those attack ads Davis shot at Riordan during the Republican primary? Short memory, have we?

I actually voted Libertarian for guv in that election because I couldn't stand Simon or Davis. I would gladly have voted for Riordan.

So what do you say now? How about we recall Davis, put Riordan on the ballot, and elect him now? You know (and Davis did too) that he would have beat Greyout in a walk.
