AS dug himself a fairly deep hole last night by stating that the Washington Post article was not true and that the reporter was going to lose his job. If he had been smart, he would have simply said, "So, what's the big deal?" Actually, if he had been really smart, he would have kept his mouth shut until he had done some research. Ken Lay got around and I hope that he goes down hard. As I pointed out to him earlier this evening, how was anyone to know that Enron's success was built on a base of fraudulent accounting.
