Guantánamo is a wound fresh, salted daily, nothing 'old' about it, it is a right here right now today thing ... a few decades or a few dozens decades after the US comes to its senses and does the right thing, it will become 'old', until then it is quite front and centre in the symbolism of US treatment of latinos, every day as the sun rises on that occupation there is pointed up yet again the hypocrisy of the great Cradle of Liberty Come and see the violence inherent in the system!
