The dominos that many cite are incest, beastiality, pedophilia, 'gay schools', etc as inevitable once gays are given equal rights. Reminds me of the old arguments against giving rights to minorities and women.

Although you may not like it, America protects the rights of people you don't agree with.

We need an amendment to the Constitution immediately. We can skip the flag burning one for now and the other amendment that Frist wants requiring a once a year pilgrimage to Gracelawn.

As in Roe v Wade, the long-run danger is not from the court, but TO the court.

There have been many, many remarks of surprise that the Senate obstructionists are willing to close the courts down rather than approve conservative judges. Don't look for Bush to cave. The Court has changed the environment, imagining rights where liberal fashion was served rather than justice. I believe the left will eventually be chased entirely out of politics and PURGED elsewhere. If that process is delayed, however, we could well see an empty SCOTUS...
