You said that WMD did not matter. However, it was the major reason for attacking Iraq, and a key pillar of the Bush Doctrine. Finding weapons of mass destruction IS extremely important, both for credibility at home and abroad. Else, why did we invade?

If the 'new' Bush Doctrine is to attack any country with significant human rights violations by brutal governments as the main reason, then surely an invasion of China is mandated. No?

'Following blindly' is what the Germans did in WWII, Russians in the USSR, and is what sends Al Qaeda members flying into buildings. Questioning, understanding, and at times admonishing our leadership is what Americans do.

"...IF the president was duped...then 3/4ths of the world was duped"

You have a shoddy memory...3/4 or more of the world were NOT IN FAVOR of the invasion of Iraq due to the LACK OF PROOF from a US administration that claimed ABSOLUTE PROOF.
Claiming to have proof and then not having any is...A LIE.
Plain and simple.
