The finer point that you missed is that the UN is part of the great catastrophic error of the post WWII era. It has been supported by elitist pinheads for no reason through the Cold War, and now through the Islamic war on the world. It has consistently refused to deal with the great conflicts of its era. It became a propaganda flack for the Palestinians after the 1967 war, and never once stood up to the greatest killers of our era, the Soviets. The greatest disaster of the post WWII era was the collapse of colonialism. The folly of "self-determination" in the third world has created artificial oppression, corruption, and genocide across most of the third world, resulting in literally billions of people being refused admission to modern civilization. If, as I have speculated, the West has to kill between 20 and 100 million Moslems to stop the terrorist plague in the next twenty years, that blood will be on the hands of the ignorant "internationalists" of the West in the post-WWII era, who ASSUMED without a second thought that a "New League of Nations" and the end of colonialism, were the answers to the rise of Hitler...
