There is a small business just south of town that is marketing Nextel Fat Cat Wireless, which apparently involves a small dish, looks a lot like a satellite dish. Yes, those who gave up on Craig McCaw, for the time being at least, look like fools. Sorry to hear about your health. I have been very lucky. Other than bouts of market-induced temporary insanity, I feel fine. Hope you feel the same soon. PB >> Thanks for the well wishes, PB...yep I did bring NXTL up on this thread when it was in the $3's. Forgot who I was discussing it with but they didnt like it due to it's large amount of debt, and at that time, everything was in the pits....My only argument why I liked it, and we discussed this here...was simply what I was seeing with my own two eye's. Everywhere I looked, people were switching to NXTL. That and the fact they had the best rate at keeping customers, and the highest net profit per customer, made me believe they would not only survive, but be one of, if not the most, dominant player in wireless when the shakout was done. While all wireless carriers were seeing declining numbers, nxtl was growing in very dire times. So, yep, I called it right in the $3's, but was an idiot and called it wrong when it couldn't break above $16 and ended up selling the last of my shares at $15.10. I just figured the market had run and was due for a pullback and nxtl had a quick rise to $15 - $16, where it stalled and couldnt break thru. So I sold, hoping to buy back cheaper. She got into the $13's after I soldm but I was gredy and loking for $10...then the nascar news and positive press in some financial rags, and BOOM, off she went......win some lose some...and sometimes you win and lose at the same time like I did with NXTL<ggg>........
