dont worry, nothing bad can happen regarding california's budget.

like always, politicians will find a way to muddle through and there will be NO IMPACT WHATSOEVER on the average joe in california.

all governemnt workers hired in the last 5 years will keep their jobs and in fact get a pay raise this year.

no taxes will be raised either.

i have this info directly from the state budget fairy, so you know it will be true!

btw- midnight on monday is when the budget must be balanced, or else about 1/5th of california's state employees will be laid off.

frankly, i think that'll be a good thing. worthless middle managers that don't contribute jack shit to society other than pushing paper and trying to protect their own parasitic jobs.

the only downside is that all the illegal mexican immigrants (about 9 million in the state alone) will no longer be able to collect their welfare checks or free university educations.

i guess the idea of california accepting mexican consulate IDs as equivalent to USA identification didn't work out too well, eh? the democrats never expected that every single illegal mexican immigrant had a mexican consulate ID, now did they?

but they made damn sure that in california you could register to vote with no identification other than a mexican consulate ID- which is given to anyone born in mexico.

without the illegal immigrant vote, the democrats would have LONG AGO been thrown out of office. the fact that we're having to do a voter recall to throw that fucking criminal gray davis out of office just tickles me to no end.

anyway, this whole scam will be over by tuesday morning.

frankly i'd love to see the state collapse. i've got my guns and ammo and canned food ready.

John:

This mess has been growing for well over a year now and is mirrored in many other states. As I noted last year, several states could not even pay their tax payers the sums owed as a tax return. Anybody who thinks things are looking up is simply not paying attention to corporate tax receipts...... which provide the real story about how crummy earnings have been.

Best, Earlie

Nursing homes are losing so much state aid that many soon may have to shut down or limit their services, a prospect that has elderly residents confused and frightened... the day that the nursing homes shut down is the day the current government will be showed the door.
