A more disgraceful Presidential performance could scarcely be imagined... you were correct: this was 'Bay of Pigs' 50 times larger.

Probably less than a quarter as a result of the failed revolt, as died as a result of sanctions.

Unlike you, I do not believe that President Clinton was either wrong or responsible for the deaths that resulted from Sanctions. After all, Clinton had the same information, and gave the same justifications for sanctions (and his 100 hr. 1998 war), as Bush did to prosecute the 2003 war.
