I don't think I ever encountered him (stock thread or otherwise) during his first 19,000 posts, but given what I've seen since he showed up here on June 19th, I haven't missed anything. The bear market has resulted in a dearth of active discussion in the stock threads, so I understand the propensity for members to mark time on the Coffee Shop threads until more people get interested in discussing the market and individual stocks again. But, bored or not, there's no excuse to mark time with relentless trashing of the site and other customers. I wouldn't allow it in my place of business, and I respect Bob for not allowing it in his. And, before the free speech advocates jump on their soap boxes, free speech is the burden of the government, not private enterprise.
