Re: While I missed the Russert interview, it was my understanding that Russert put him through the grinder.

It was a typical hack job by a GHP creep. The topics Russert picked, homosexuality and the death sentence among them, were designed to make Dean look like a marginal player.

Dean biffed on a question about how many people serve in the U.S. military. He actually got the numbers more of less right, but then yammered on about how he'd delegate that aspect of his administration to experts. This was the answer that raised a red flag for the "oppo" creeps in the White House.
