Hi Mr. Mo,
As I said before, it is easier and more convenient for auction sellers to accept payments, and auction buyers to pay their winning bids, by registering or using their existing CheckFree "member" accounts. Again, for example on eBay, CheckFree could automatically insert the CheckFree Pay Button into the auction listings and generate the auction invoice once an auction has closed. And the buyer would automatically retrieve auction details from eBay to be used in the CheckFree Checkout Page, which is part of the auction buyer's checkout process.

As for why CheckFree is able to compete with PayPal? Hey, it's a free country and we have antitrust laws on the books to protect consumers from anti-competitive actions. Competition is certainly a good thing for consumers in a free market economy.

I would pose the opposite question. Why shouldn't we have competition?
