80¢ is still under the consensus of 81¢.

It's an old analyst trick. On a stock you recommend, keep a low estimate. Then you can raise the estimate later and say how wonderful things are, even though they haven't changed.

Just look where the analyst was before yesterday--70¢, well under consensus. Either he's got a very bearish view of the stock and the economy, or he was just sandbagging. Well, he used a 10¢ rise in his estimate to coincide with raising his rating.

Heck, they're all just guessing at a 2004 estimate, anyway. One thing I'll guarantee you--that 80¢ number will be wrong.
