Well, I don't believe that all the crime is even being reported in Iraq right now. After the recent wave of looting and chaos, and with the lack of a police force, that a lot of crime goes unreported.

Overall, I'd take a day in California instead of Iraq any day. Of course, except on the freeway at rush hour; there, you really DO take your life into your own hands.
