Well, tolerance is an important virtue.

I have a good number of homosexual friends, and they are amongst the kindest and most morally straight people I know. And none of them ride topless on motorcycles (at least as far as I know :)

Believe it or not, there are many right-wing gays. They just keep it more secret. Maybe you are, in fact, gay. Some of the worse gayhaters and gay-bashers are secretly gay inside. That has been seen many-many times. The most famous example is J Edgar Hoover, who dressed as a woman in private but attacked homosexuality in public.

Also, my parents belond to Bush's church in Texas. The entire choir seems to be made up of gay man and some of them are very devout. They are one of the reasons people go to that church. Cheney's daughter is also gay. Millions of examples. Hey, if Bill Bennett can be a degenerate gambling addict, the stereotypes no longer fit, do they?
