Language, Carl ... you have a way with words, just a way over the top on a very few of them ... thread founder down, respect, yada yada .... agreed with most all the points you're making in re Iraq, fwiw

Obligatory foreign affairs content ... well alright, this is apparently the first time one country has extradited to a second country a criminal who committed his crimes in a third country - mx.news.yahoo.com
... sorry it's in spanish but you can pick out search terms, like -
Ricardo Miguel Cavallo
Sérpico

mx.news.yahoo.com
mx.news.yahoo.com
mx.news.yahoo.com

.. story is, México extradites Cavallo to Spain for his crimes in Argentina ... and this has never been done before, three-way, sets precedent

I am personally transmogrified into a "complete coward" and a "world class coward", because I notice that people underestimated the threat from Germany in the '30s, only to rue it at the end of the decade? In the early '30s, Germany did not at all look like a juggernaut, it looked like a nation that was prostrate, and even Hitler was not confident he could win a war in the mid- '30s. In any event, conventional military force was never the issue with Iraq, and the way in which international terrorism has metastasized has altered the equation even more. But never mind that, Bilow assures us it is all boogie men and mares nests........
