You must be nuts. Could they defeat us in a war? Of course not. But were they a danger? Absolutely. Could North Korea defeat us in a war? Of course not. Are they a danger? Absolutely. Again, you're thinking like the weak-minded liberal you are. It really doesn't take a lot of deep thought to figure that if 19 evil people can pull off a 9/11 attack, someone with the backing of Saddam Hussein can do us much greater harm. You can make that argument about nearly anyone. I bet if you thought long enough you could make that argument about France. In fact I am surprised rush or sean haven't already. The 19 people that did this were totally disconnected from Saddam. The fact is that Saddam has NEVER attacked us. Read my lips...NEVER. He thought we were his friends, with all the bio stuff we sold him during the Iran war. Rummy himself was Saddam's pal at one time. I'm not sure what your complaint is. Surely, you don't think the world was a better place with Saddam in office. If you DO, I recommend you relocate to Syria right away. And the most interested party, the iraqis, are long past being resentful...we're into hate territory now. You gonna shove democracy down their thoats now are you? Hey, let me tell you something. Your president has two vulnerabilities in 2004. The economy and Iraq. If I were as partisan as you say, I should be glad to have him in the quicksand Iraq is becoming.
