Jay, you are It's little soldier [with WiFi/CDMA2000/Cyberspace phragmented photon light sabre weapon - though you aren't yet upgraded to the WiFi/CDMA version so are stuck with the stone club version instead of the GPS-guided remote control Tomahawk version].

Note correct apostrophe in It's.

Given the history of China, which has seen in recent decades what lack of freedom means, I am not surprised that Hong Kongese value freedom more than Americans do and will turn out in large numbers to secure their freedom.

When East Germany was taken over by West Germany, I thought that in fact, the Westies would be actually taken over by the Easties. Joining things together isn't a one-way street, as married people and other combo attempts learn, often to their dismay. Sure enough, East Germany is still changing the shape of Germany.

China's bosses thought they were taking over Hong Kong, but in fact, they got hold of a tar-baby. Too late now, they are up to their waists in crowds of people who want freedom to remain. Freedom Rock is, as Dave Barry would say, a great name for a rock band.

Hu Jintao seems to me [with very little evidence I admit] one to be able to handle the transition. I think China will become more like Hong Kong than the reverse.

Will Hu send in the troops and do a Tienanmen Square on the locals? The whole world's watching! Good luck. You'll be able to say "I have returned" as you march back into China to take it over. Come to think of it, there are some people here who might be returning too [descendants of them anyway].

You are looking after the world's freedom, not just your own. So, man the barricades and show them who's boss. It's We the Sheeple. America isn't the defender of freedom now - they are going over to the dark side. You are! Hiding in the hotel isn't a good idea. Get out amongst it [says he without any soldiers standing at the end of the street].
