Yes, they look like little miniature pansies.
Did they come up all by themselves?
Airborne seeds easily start them.

Birds drop their seed everywhere. I tried like hell to get rid of them but they are so invasive that my side yard is full of them.

Hey.....they are green and thrive from a good mowing.

We call them violas.

I really hate them.
