Does anyone here really believe that a President can influence the economy in only 2 months?

The influences that caused the recession were in place and having their effect when Bush entered the job...even though it "officially" reach fruition in March 2001, this recession was "planted" by policies and events well before.

If anyone inflated the bubble, it was Clinton/Rubin.

But, I think it's stupid to credit ANY president with a slump or boom.
