No, you are incorrect. That's there 'cover story' now... but it is not what they were originally saying.

The original claim was that the drones could reach our American shores (6,000 miles!) and threatened us directly.

I listened to the speech on TV myself.

(If you go looking for a direct quote to support your claims, I think you'll be surprised when you turn up the texts.)
