Others are too harmless to make into matters of law, like bestiality, but too absurd to raise to a certain level: obviously, there is not the mental or social standing necessary to marry a dog. Mental or social standing are not required and are not even an issue. Should a woman wish to declare her sexual affection for her pup, a society that accepts homosexuality has no basis to deny association with her. She can retain her right to teach society's children and as long as society claims her lifestyle is acceptable, she can legitimately live in such a way that everyone knows she sleeps with a dog - including the children she teaches. When homosexuals exploit government might to force societal acceptance of their perversion, they also allow this woman to do likewise with hers. Moreover, with the acceptance of homosexuality the logical basis against polygamy is destroyed. If homosexuality and polygamy are acceptable, the surely homosexual polygamy is acceptable. The true basis of society exists in nature - in our very flesh. When we deny the fact of our nature to remove society's structure from its biological moorings, we go too far. Nature will have her way...
