Re: (Some of this could be good, as it lessens our need to base our people all around the world. Of course, the devil is in the details - how it's used, and who is President then...and - we just hope that others don't have this also - or it will be a very insecure world...t)

Keep in mind that the best way for our nation to be secure from missile attack from overseas is if no one has any missiles. The goal of strategic arms reduction is what all sane statesmen seek. Only the Bushies want to contravene existing international agreements that ban the militarization of space. I think it would be a huge mistake to give the irresponsible Bushies any more opportunities to foment chaos and perpertrate murder across the planet. That is what these new hypocondriac hypersonic mayhem machines are all about.

This upping of the ante is not good for anyone except profit-seeking military contractors and the fiendish men who control our military. As a nation, we will be less secure with these systems in place. The other 96% of the people on earth are not going to stand idly by as the U.S. tries to cram our imperial ambitions down their throats. Nor should they.

It is time to ramp back all this military madness. America is going bonkers. The rest of the world knows this. Why don't Americans?
