Tom, The brainwashing seems to have been effective in our adversary's case. I'm afraid that I'd be one of those who would make a fake recovery just to get away from such a dreadful prison. Years ago, I was the superintendant on the construction of a drug rehabilitation facility in the Bay Area. It was administered much the same as this Jamaica facility was. I had real mixed feelings about what I considered to be quasi-prison construction, and had a twinge of pride in the indomitable human spirit when the first escape occurred on the first night the facility was open.
