A large technological superiority can offset a large demographic inferiority. But India and China are steadily closing the technological and economic gaps. Eventually, demographics wins, if the technological gap is even partly closed. "Eventually" can mean a century or two, as in the case of the Crusader States, where a handfull of Western soldiers temporarily conquered the Holy Land.

Which is one reason I think the only way Israel can survive, is as the 51st State. Alone, it will go the way of the earlier Crusader States, eventually.

I would expect you to totally reject the theory of demographics influencing the balance of political and military power, as the implications for Israel are dire.
