Sounds a lot like the Microsoft model which as we all know, has been a complete and total failure...

Of course, the metrics are completely irrelevant - Verizon is growing, adding customers and Cingular is... NOT. Must be all those stupid stupid and really stupid customers who absolutely cannot tell the difference between a really crappy service and a good one and just plonk down their money on the expensive one. And to think that economists refer to consumers in a market as being rational. A good thing for Verizon that the number of irrational consumers far exceeds the rational ones that are signing up for Cingular.
