Condi fills many quota's at once being a women and not being white. Powell fills some of the same quota's.

The quota they fill best with me is being competent.

I am just curious to know the what and the why of Condi disappearing from the scene in the heat of the war. They just tucked her away and she was gone. Seems to me the pressure was too much for her or she had some conflict with it. Now that the pressure is off, you hear her name all the time again and she is being actively marketed by the media again. Has anyone read or heard what the problem may have been?
