Hi Jacob Snyder; I agree that the left wing, when arguing with the right wing, should be polite, and should avoid the "rude in-your-face, confrontational, belittling style" I use.

I agree with you, to a certain extent. For example, whenever an election comes around and I see a dirty hippy with a "vote Democrat" sign, I rejoice. But I'm not a dirty hippy. I'm not even a centerist. I'm right wing. I'm one of them. My hair is short.

Re: "All these reasons can be challenged, and prowar support eroded."

The idiot section of the right wing itself cannot possibly be convinced that it is wrong. These losers still think that Vietnam was "winnable", why would you think that you can convince them otherwise about Iraq?

No, this battle is over the hearts and minds of the center. Pissing off the idiot right wing has no detrimental effects. Getting them to publicly promote their idiotic ideas does have an influence on the center.

In this case, the center is forced to choose between ideas that are promoted by the left wing and the right wing. There is hardly any centrist position. My position is to show that the right wing is divided against itself, and is therefore a house that cannot stand. This leaves only the left wing with a coherent plan (pull out and let the UN take over).

Come on, get a grip. Has the way I've abused these idiots got you (or Marcos or whoever) convinced that the war in Iraq must therefore be a good idea? (LOL!!!)
