The Bush recession has not ended. You're talking about a technical improvement over the 9-11 quarter. Jeez, I should hope so. I bought some stocks after 9-11, sold in November and got out. I wouldn't touch stocks now. Believe it not we have a bubble now, supported by articficially low interest rates and artificially high real estate prices. Everything else but defense is going nowhere. Companies are getting lean and mean but by laying off people, and that is reportedly going to continue for some time to come. 3 million lost jobs now under Bush. We may have another technical improvement this quarter but that's because Bush is creating the largest ever deficits and putting a lot of cash back in rich peoples' hands, plus a few bucks in middleclass hands. Meanwhile the dollar isn't worth as much so it's really a mirage. Just printing money. States like California dont have that luxury. Bush's deficits are 35 times Davis's. recall anyone?
