an article in 1970 when Texas Railroad Commission put out a press release indicating in a cryptic way that US had passed its peak.

he had a detailed explanation of that cryptic newspaper message in his book Hubbert's Peak. he also pointed out that OPEC was modeled on the Texas Railroad Commission. very interesting that he is likening another newspaper article to calling the peak on the global level, thanks.
