"... but the Administration has tacitly and actively encouraged the American people to conclude that Iraq attacked us. (The terrorists who attacked us were predominantly Saudi Arabian, and their funding was primarily through Saudi Arabian interests). Any links between Iraq and al Qaeda have been to date tenuous at best."

You think the above is true? No one in the US believes iraq attacked us. No leader has ever said that. You are just soooo out of touch with what americans believe. You must think us dumb. Most elitists and expatriates do.

You can call my post an attack if you want. Sorry, but that article WAS cliche-ridden - about the only thing she left out was "blatant ignoring of international law." It wasn't so much an article as a compilation of phrases from Fisk/Rall/Pitt/Raimundo stories. As for my buying Bush II's "lie" that Iraq attacked us - nope. Speaking of lies, though, maybe someone should tell the author of that article (since she seems to be fond of moral action, judging from the number of times she mentions it) that the "cultural destruction" of Iraq she speaks of never happened. Just a thought.
