Look i am sure 50% of all americans dont know the names of any of the dem presidential candidates either. What the poll shows is that to many americans all arabs are the same. And yes the bush admin views the war on terror as organic transcending borders etc. Was Iraq a terror state--sure. Is Al Quaeda their terror group of choice, no. But that does not change anything. Most europeans think george bush is worse than saddam and that the US FP is a bigger problem than terrorism, iraq or iran. Now thats dumb, right Noel?
