Bush will have a four-year deflationary recession with a few post-war bumps and lotsa continuing unemployment and budget crises. His federal tax cuts are being offset by local tax hikes and higher energy prices. He has succeeded though in transfering wealth from the middleclass to the rich, and from the treasury to the private sectors, especially his own private sectors like defense and oil.
