When I want news, I go to the internet.

I check the PBS news most nights, and watch a segment if they have something interesting. But I watch cable only if something is breaking. The local news shows here in Honolulu are terrible.

I'm a skimmer, a little here and a little there, no place is very satisfactory. I like CBS at times; they've recently done several good pieces on the drug industry. They also tend to take more distance to the administration than CNN and MSNBC. I don't know about NBC or ABC since I rarely hit them in my skimming.

But much of the time now, I already know the news by the evening based on internet reading.

The one serious reason to watch network news and CNN is to see what frames mainstream media are using.
