Not so, Derek, other rights, such as the state's interest in protecting the welfare of minors, may be held to trump the right of privacy. Ditto for assaults of any kind. I was thinking of situations where one party is over 21, and the other party is under 18, but of the age of consent. I thought that was still considered statutory rape, but I was mistaken upon looking it up yesterday. As long as both are above consent, they're clear apparently. It will become more difficult to regulate behavior between consenting adults, however, which has implications for the incest laws (or might if anyone was pushing to change them) and for legalization of prostitution. And polygamy... Derek
