You need a system that takes money out of the equation, and provides equal sums to all candidates. That means other parties not just the dems and repubs.

You also need to destroy the lobby system, as it undermines the voters and empowers any group that can drum up vast amounts of cash. It also allows foreign interests to control foreign policy ie: AIPAC.
