Wahabi al quaeda is different than hamas it seems to me. Just a hunch. I dont know how they can be engaged in discussions with israel though. Something about peace would have to appear to be in their lt interest. Short term they cease and desist because they are being slaughtered. Long term i dunno. I just sense that US/Israel/Quartet/egypt/saudi pressure, prodding and rewarding(taking them off the shit list) might have the ear of some political types down the road apiece. But lets take it three months at a time. For now all parties can go to the beach without fear. And thats a small step forward. mike
