Well in principle I agree with this statement. However, based on your earlier post, I suspect you may be painting with a broad extremist brush that I would not support.

Also, "to support Democracy" is a good thing to do, IMO, but it is not a moral, it is a political statement; and in the context of this discussion, it has been reduced to empty rhetoric since; the participants all say this but attribute opposing meanings to it.

Sorry, but you're mixiing up morality and politics.

Opposition to secrecy is not a moral issue.

And, btw, the degree of secrecy has nothing to do with the form of government.
