What good's money if you can't make the necessary time to enjoy it?!

There's always something on the desk (or screen) that can occupy us. And <occupy> is the right word. As in: an occupying army that's taken control of your life.

Know folks that are way too driven. Makes it impossible for them to develop or maintain anything in the way of important relationships. Can't stay married. No friends other than biz <friends>. No real travel or vacation. Essentially, it's life in the cave of Mammon. Sad.

Am sure everyone reading this thread knows one or more people whose <life> resembles that profile. Their money runs them vs the other way around.

One of the reasons I started working for myself, years ago, was get full control of my time. Even though I made less money the first few years, it was worth it. And now? Can't imagine ever working for anyone else.

Well, that's more than enough rambling ranting for one day.<g>
