Bit disappointed, here, elated "over there"

HUI's fade off after such a good beginning was a bit disappointing. I shifted things around some with out much benefit, coming out of GSS not very well given the range and putting on HL, similarly. Ivanhoe was down despite a sharp rise in copper prices and most things Chinese, Thai and Japanese. See the close end fund CHN, below. Took profits near the highs (20% in three days)...sorta the 300 average day, today...but a good overall gain I'd take any time...

On Gallemore's charts we see that the trend indicators have turned for both Crude and Gold from low levels but the momentum isn't kicking in .... warning signal...Silver is doing better.

(S&P headed for another shot at 1000 - is that a sale?)

For the HUI going forward, based on GOLD and its "almost doji gravestone" hesitation up here is likely the best we'll see unless the dollar slips.

Seems we're due for one of those frightening, one-week plunges from out of nowhere, just to get weak hands shook-out. Tomorrow (half-day) and Monday morning may be just the sort of timing to get the job started, as I suspect volumes will be low.

Raised some more cash today, finally kicking the last of that damned IAU out the door. Good riddance. Did buy some more DSR ... good money after bad, no doubt! <g>

AGI looking for buyers. Other than me and Marcos, that is.

INM, some serious volume today there, 12x normal. CBR and SVL had good volume also. Tom, was that you running up the bids again?
