RE: "Ask yourself. With cheap chips, who stands to benefit and make money?"

The real enablers of the technology. I don't think anything is priced in for ALTR, XLNX, LLTC, and MXIM except current performance. Sure they have high valuations. They are growing very profitably, while most tech companies are still cutting costs to break even. The reason they are doing well is that they are leading edge. A recovery will happen when leading edge dominates and I expect these 4 to grow at rates that exceed most.

I expect AMAT, ASML, KLAC, and NVLS to outperform, also. They are the key semi tool suppliers.

I don't like design software because there is little volume leverage. They seem to be more a defensive play in technology.

It is not certain that UTEK will not do well, but it seems certain to me that they will not do as well as my 4 semi-equips. They are NOT key enablers. They do NOT develop new technology. They have NOT had a good business track record since 1995.
