C2 quite right. <The telecom stuff was a sop> And what's more, it was really only a small sop. The total contract was for a very small network. Maybe when things get more serious, service providers will opt for CDMA2000 and a better, cheaper, path to the future.

CDMA2000 and 1xEV-DO are faster, cheaper and ready right now. Iraqis shouldn't settle for a more expensive second-rate technology [GSM, GPRS, Bleeding EDGE and W-CDMA]. Especially as they don't have legacy technology looming over them to deal with.
