Typical non-truths from you: Even critical sites admit that George Bush completed his training and certified for the F-102 in 1970. Even critical sites, conclude that President Bush flew the F-102 regularly till mid 1972.

When President Bush began flight training, F102's were still being deployed to Southeast Asia. And yes, members of the 147th fighter-interceptor Group (GWB's unit), flew in service, in Southeast Asia. Even after President Bush completed flight school and began training on the F-102, members of the 147th had participated in "Palace Alert" and served in Southeast Asia. A critical site even writes that George W. Bush applied for a transfer to "Palace Alert".

re:"As for his flying, he never flew without a trainer on the stick in the plane with him. Those were trainer jets, not real jets."
