Kevin,

What charge was leveled against over a hundred thousand Japanese Americans "evacuated" from the West Coast during the WWII? Somehow, our Republic survived. In fact, FDR's Administration not only rounded up Japanese Americans, but those of Japanese descent living other Countries (Latin Americans of Japanese descent), and put them into camps.

re:" Yes. To hold someone for months on a simple immigration charge is simply contrary to our Constitution. Think back in history, and in today's totalitarian regimes, where people were held indefinitely without being charged, or arrested on minor charges and then being held indefinitely."
