sure....but the same number of shares would cost you 60 thousand dollars not 10 thousand.....30k at .35 is around 10k...30k at 2.00 is 60 thousand dollars!!!!!!

right there you lose by having to use 6 times the money to make the same amount as you would like buying 30k shares a .35.....

you just don't get it...and most people don't.....

i learned long ago you can't explain math to people on these threads because so few even know the basics of percentages and how they apply to shorting and longing stocks.....

and i'm sorry i tried.....

this is as simple as i can explain it.....

you have 10k....going long you could turn that into a million dollars or more....

you have 10k...going short the most you can make is 10k....and that rare....a stock has to go to zero....

if you want to make a million dollars going short.....you have to use a million dollars when you could use only 10k going long to get that million.....

so for the fact that you need more money to make more money going short because the downside is limited by 100%....

and with very little money...you can make a bundle going long because the % upside is infinity.....

with just those facts alone....being a "short" only trader is pure stupidity or ignorance of math.....or you have a ton of money already and don't give a crap......
