Lindy:

she basically says, "Democrat/Liberal = Traitor." I said, "Whoops, she has gone round the bend. " This is going to ruin her and make her lose what syndication she has.

This is the same trap a couple of Dems tried to put her in earlier this evening on Hannity and Colmes......and I think you are wrong. She isn't saying that at all.

The book is specifically about the act of Treason, and what constitutes treason. It is NOT about the politics of personal destruction but rather a look at historical events that continue to evolve today in ways that make them more than circumstantial.

I admit I am only 25 pages in, but there are specific facts she sites in the very beginning of the book that peaked my interest enough to want to continue reading. Although there is a certain acerbity to Ann Coulter that turns a lot of people off......just like Maureen Dowd I admit......the issue of treason hasn't been seriously discussed in America for a long time.

I don't believe this will "ruin her" at all....on the contrary......if people could get beyond their distaste for the word the subject of treason in America could lead to some interesting discussion.

Her book has opened a door that appeared to be permanently closed and locked 50 years ago with the "end" of the McCarthy era.
